Chapter 1 outline

This was the first version of the chapter outline.

I was trying to copy Cappiello's style, but I wasn't quite there yet

This was my final version of the chapter one out line.

I tried to use the same typography treatment that Cappiello used.

I chose franklin gothic as the typeface, because that was the typeface that was invented in this time frame. I wanted to contextualize it by putting a traditional Absinth advertisement in the background and contrasted it with Cappiello's poster in the center. I also I summarized the context, the product, the audience and the effect that Absinth played in this era.
